About

Meet Gigi

My expertise as a coach is to produce results-driven strategic actions to achieve the client’s goals. Based on the client’s needs and circumstances, I help create actionable steps, while motivating and empowering the client to move forward in their quest. My clients gain the clarity needed to stand out in interviews and in their careers by developing the tools, strategies, and confidence most aligned with their passions, talents, and values, and to start making their mark in the world.

I designed my coaching process to help a multitude of people: whether you are frustrated, unfulfilled or overwhelmed in your existing position and want to make a change; or looking to retire and want to design a 2nd career that fits your idea of a balanced and fulfilling life; or possibly new to the workforce and are unsure how to determine the best path to pursue. Additionally, I have great success working with clients to fine-tune and nail their interview process, creating strong narratives to communicate their previous successes and strengths powerfully and authentically.

What sets me apart as a coach is, quite simply, my expansive corporate background, my mediation experience and my strong business acumen. My integrity, energy, and ability enable me to create solutions and strategies in environments where folks were certain none existed. My background and experience offer a unique and highly valuable skill set that few can claim. I know how to inspire and bring out the best in people to help them achieve their goals. In my coaching sessions, we collaborate to uncover your strengths, hidden talents, and motivations, build confidence, remove barriers, and take real action to achieve your business and personal objectives.

I have over 5 years of experience in private practice as a professional career and business coach, plus 27 years of experience as a Healthcare IT Solutions Provider, working for top tier companies such as Philips Healthcare, PwC, Zebra Technologies, and Roche Diagnostics. I’ve held a variety of roles, including Business Development/Sales, National Strategy Development and Deployment, and Co-development of disruptive IT solutions with large-scale clients at the national IDN C-Suite level. I trained, coached, and mentored colleagues and clients on the design, development, execution and implementation of best practices, winning strategies, and solutions aligned with their short and long-term objectives. Throughout my career, I worked in high-pressure, shark tank environments to find common ground amid a flurry of conflict.

While working in the corporate world, I acquired a law degree, which I used as a mediator bringing highly-conflicted parties together to resolve disputes and create mutually beneficial agreements, coaching them on the best steps to achieve those objectives. Areas mediated include business, property, divorce, child custody, and restorative justice for troubled youth.

Ultimately, I believe everyone deserves a challenging, exciting, and fulfilling career in which they feel valued and aligned with their inner purpose and yearnings no matter what stage of their career they are in. I consider it a great honor to be a part of someone’s journey to success – whatever that success might look like.

Meet Wes

The question that has guided my entire professional journey so far, especially when I encounter a new idea, framework, or set of tools, is: “How can I use this to create tangible, lasting changes in people’s lives?” As a lifelong student of philosophy and psychology, this question is ultimately the reason I left the world of academia and chose to become a life coach rather than continuing into a PhD program after my MA. My life’s work is to harness our ever-growing understanding of the human mind in order to facilitate truly impactful change in the world – one person and group at a time.

I am driven by an inexhaustible desire to understand the nature of how we experience and construct our realities, in order to find practical solutions to particularly challenging psychological blocks and thereby dramatically transform human lives. While I believe strongly in the need for therapy (especially with trauma-informed work), I also believe there is immense potential in coaching modalities that focus on behavioral change and goal-oriented outcomes. The general line of questioning with work like this is, “Alright, you’ve had a breakthrough – now what can we do with it?”

The coaching program I’ve developed over the last decade is based heavily in psychology, and my research into this field began over twenty years ago. My work incorporates narrative psychology, Jungian psychology, the pioneering work of neuroscience clinicians such as Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Daniel Siegel, and Dr. Mike Dow, and a range of other disciplines and tools. I am dedicated to staying at the cutting edge of research into the human mind so that I may continue to be of the highest service to my clients. Combining these insights with results-driven, action-oriented coaching techniques produces impactful results relatively quickly, and equips individuals with tools for ongoing self-discovery and increasingly higher levels of joy and fulfillment in their lives.

Witnessing the ways in which clearing internal obstacles leads to external changes in my client’s lives has been immensely rewarding. Changing the way we live requires shifting outdated behaviors and self-perceptions, breaking through our limiting beliefs, and rewriting old stories that are holding us back. This approach to the human psyche has become increasingly prevalent across multiple disciplines, and it is a joy to bring this work into a context that supports rapid changes in thought and behavior.

My coaching lends itself extremely well to a group setting because of the powerful reflections and mirroring that occur in a collaborative, participatory environment. It has been an honor to join forces with Gigi Grady, one of the most talented and insightful coaches one is likely to find anywhere in the world, and the combination of our unique coaching modalities has proven to be quite potent.
